Psynopsis Magazine
Psynopsis, Canada's Psychology Magazine, is a vehicle by which CPA, CPA members, psychologists and those outside of psychology communicate with the diverse psychology community in Canada.
 
Advertising of commercial advertisements relevant to psychology (as well as non-commercial advertisements depending on space availability) is an important part of the communication function and financial viability of Psynopsis.

Copy Deadline

Psynopsis is a quarterly publication. The copy deadlines are March 1, June 1, September 1 and December 1 of each year.

To Advertise a Career on the CPA Website ( www.cpa.ca/careers)
The CPA’s website receives over 20,000 unique visitors each month and nearly 25% of all visitors land on the Careers webpage. This regular online traffic provides your career advertisement with maximum exposure to psychologists in Canada.
Our rates are $400 plus taxes for an initial 30-day posting*. If you would like your ad to be posted for a longer period of time, CPA requires a written request five business days prior to the end-date of your posting, at an additional charge of $275 plus taxes for every 30-days thereafter with no interruption and for the same ad. 
CPA requires full payment in advance prior to posting your career ad on the CPA Careers webpage.  We accept Visa and MasterCard payments only.
*Effective February 27, 2012:  Once your ad is posted, it cannot be updated/ modified.  If you do require an update to your ad, a $30 fee (plus applicable taxes) will be charged in advance (for each additional modification of the original ad).

Coming Events
The CPA strives to be a resource of information as an outreach medium and posting your event on the CPA Web site offers a quick and easy way to promote your event.
 
There is a $35 set-up fee to have an event placed on the CPA Coming Events calendar.  All postings need a date, title, location, contact phone number, e-mail, calendar URL. The Coming Events calendar is kept current and additional information can be added such as registration directions and other information that will be helpful for your attendees to know.

To Obtain Our Mailing List
$1,250 + $30 handling fee +GST/HST
 
The mailing list can be broken down by provinces: $0.30 per name + $30 handling fee + GST/HST (Prices are net of commission and taxes. Mailing lists are for one time use only and are provided in excel format, as an attachment by email).  
 
Effective March 12, 2012:  The CPA requires full payment in advance prior to processing your Mailing List Order.  We accept Visa and MasterCard payments only.
