Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI)

CIHI is an independent, not-for-profit organization that provides essential data and analysis on Canada’s health system and the health of Canadians. Advisory Committee on Health Delivery and Human Resources

Federal, provincial and territorial Ministers of Health approved a new process for managing proposals to change an entry-to-practice credential for medical and health professions in October of 2004. The assessment was based on Pan-Canadian policies and principles applicable to all health professions.
