How to Become a Campus or Student Representative

The CPA Campus Representative is open to students who are:

  1. Must be a CPA Student Affiliate. Applicants who are not already CPA Student Affiliates must complete the application process (and be approved) in order to fill the role of Campus Representative.
  2. currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate psychology or psychology-related (e.g. educational psychology) program in a college/university.
  3. available to volunteer for a one-year term, work in collaboration and lead the Student Representatives (Graduate and Undergraduate program) to promote the CPA Membership services and its benefits.

How to become a CPA Campus Representative:

Verify the CPA Campus and Student Representatives listing to see if your college/university has a vacant position.

  1. If a vacant position is open for the Campus Representative, please contact the Member Service Center via email (membership@cpa.ca) with a short 250-words paragraph identifying why you would be a great lead as the CPA Campus Rep as well as a copy of your curriculum vitae.
  2. If there is not a vacant position, we encourage you to apply for the Student Representative (Undergraduate and/or Graduate) position.  Send your curriculum vitae to membership@cpa.ca and the name of your institution.

 

The CPA undergraduate or graduate student representative positions are open to students who are:

How to become a Student Representative (Undergraduate or Graduate):

Verify the Campus and Student Representatives listing to see if your college/university has a vacant position.

  1. If a vacant position is open for the Student Representative (either the undergraduate or graduate) position, please send your curriculum vitae to the Member Services Centre via email to membership@cpa.ca with the name of your institution.
  2. If there is not a vacant position and you are interested in being a Student Representative, we ask that you still send your curriculum vitae to the Member Service email.

Not all Canadian colleges and universities are listed on our website.  Please email membership@cpa.ca if you do not see your college/university in the list.

In return for their effort and support, each designated CPA Campus Representative and CPA Student Representative will receive a complimentary one-year membership/affiliation in the CPA (this includes access to CPA member benefits).
