The 2011-2012 year will be themed around student communication and networking for academic and professional psychology. Some goals include the development of an online information and networking tool, a strong program for Psychology Month (February), and continued engagement with and evolution of the campus representatives program. Also included in the section’s goals for the year is to launch an initiative begun by the previous years’ executive, Mind Pad, a student written and reviewed magazine focusing on professional and academic issues in psychology. Finally, the Students’ section will continue its tradition of developing a section program, and the ‘famous’ student social, for the annual CPA convention to be held in Halifax in 2012. We look forward to seeing as many students at the convention as possible, and look forward to hearing from you before then!
