Note: Students Listserv is still experiencing problems5/01/09: A (temporary) solution has been reached. Our section is now able to disseminate information to all section members via Section News. This system distributes emails from the Section Executive to all section members. If you have a message you would like disseminated via Section News, please send to the Listserv Manager.
Membership information for Students A new policy is in place regarding students wishing to join CPA. New membership applications from students no longer require a CPA member sponsor. Instead, proof of current enrolment (e.g., letter from Department, copy of transcript, university invoice, fee statement) at a recognized institution is sufficient. This should make it easier for students who are interested in psychology and CPA to join! Don't forget to also join the Section for Students - there is no additional fee.
OUR MISSION
The principal objective of the Section is to help students obtain a more active role within CPA's infrastructure. The Section for Students in Psychology crosses all section boundaries and provides a forum in which students may learn from each other and begin to prepare for their careers in psychology.

Students and the Section for Students are an important part of CPA. The student area of the website offers information on a number of topics. It is intended to help make the choices students need to make less confusing and to provide an avenue to enable students to give support to other students through articles and information.
If you have suggestions to improve this area of the website, please send us your feedback.
