About Us

Council of Provincial Associations of Psychologists - Advocacy Project

In 2003, the Association representatives of the Council of Provincial Associations of Psychologists (CPAP) decided to start a project with the aim of creating a unified advocacy movement in Canada promoting the profession of Psychology.

The central purpose of this website is to host an “information clearinghouse” of all the advocacy-related materials the CPAP Advocacy Project has received from various psychological associations across Canada, to post all relevant information generated by the Advocacy Project, and to serve as a central “meeting place” for psychological association representatives who wish to share information with each other in the form of a Bulletin Board.

The CPAP Advocacy Project has one part-time Advocacy Manager, Natasha Teoli, and is overseen by the CPAP Advocacy Project Management Committee of Darcia Evans (SK), Jennifer Frain (MB), Olga Heath (NF),  and Wolfgang Linden (BC).
