First-time Presenters Breakfast (Thursday, June 14th @ 7:30 am)

At this occasion, the leadership of CPA (its Board and executive officers) welcome new presenters to the CPA convention and take the opportunity for introduction and informal conversation over breakfast.  It is CPA's way of welcoming first-timers, many of whom are students, and to thank them for making CPA their convention of choice to present their work.
 

Presidential Reception (Thursday, June 14th & 6:00 pm)

CPA's President is very glad to host a reception for all convention delegates.  The reception, customarily held on Thursday evening, is an opportunity for delegates to meet and mingle in a more informal atmosphere while sharing some food, drink and conversation.  

Fun Run ( Friday, June 15th @ 7:00 am)

Come start your morning with an invigorating run, jog or brisk walk. Join your fellow members for CPA’s annual “fun run” at 7am in the Hotel Lobby. All proceeds raised during this year’s run will go to KidSport™ Nova Scotia.
 

Social Event (Friday, June 15th @ 7:30 pm) 

CPA Presents: Lobsterfest at Murphy's The Cable Wharf!! 

Join us in celebrating the best of the Maritimes! Enjoy a bagpiper-led processional from the convention hotel to one of Halifax’s premiere seafood establishments. You’ll be entertained by a live East Coast band as you enjoy your succulent lobster dinner (1 1/4 lb) served with all the fixin’s (dessert and non-alcoholic beverages included).
Don’t know how to eat a lobster? No problem! There will be a live demonstration on how to crack open your ruby-shelled crustacean!
See you on the wharf!!
