Continuing education is important for psychologists. Practitioners are required by the Canadian Code of Ethics for Psychologists to keep up to date. Regulatory colleges in the provinces and territories require the same level of commitment.
Continuing education is one of the important opportunities for psychology researchers and practitioners to meet. CPA offers continuing education credits and continuing education opportunities in an effort to help enhance knowledge exchange and mobalization, that is, to help practitoners learn from researchers and each other and to help researchers learn from practitioners.
If you have ideas that will help us improve our continuing education program or if you have ideas regarding what would be good topics or who would be good presenters, please contact the CPA Head Office.
